The role:

Reporting to the Finance & Administration manager, the Accountant:

• Keeps the books according to the Corporate Accounting Principles and to the local legal and fiscal requirements
• Performs the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions (full cycle: book A/P invoices), generation A/R invoices, process, and post A/P payments and A/R receipts
• Performs reconciliation with vendors
• Maintains overall fixed assets accounting
• Performs monthly IC reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and profit and loss
• Performs monthly close preparation including journal entries, depreciation entries, accruals and reconciliations to the General Ledger and providing other departments for all the necessary information
• Assists in research and resolution of all types accounting issues
• Assists in documenting processes and align standard processes across the company
• Performs 1C and SAP reconciliation on a regular basis
• Performs local and corporate accounting books reconciliation
• Performs routine activities relevant to general administration, such as processing travel and expense reports, archiving and filling of the documents
• Performs ad hoc tasks given by the Finance & Administration manager

The candidate:

• 3+ years of professional background in accounting/ book-keeping operations
• Proven relevant experience within Retail industry (luxury or major fashion brands)
• Knowledge of the Russian accounting rules and related legislation
• English language proficiency prefferred (at least intermediate level)
• 1C and SAP knowledge
• Individual contributor

• Operational effectiveness & ability to develop and implement recommendation
