The Company:

The client of Acteon is an international company acting as General Contractor for YAMAL project. They are currently looking for one experienced QA/QC Welding Specialist , to work in Kaliningrad

The Role:

• interface with SUBCONTRACTOR and COMPANY during Welding & NDT inspections
• conduct Painting and/or Coating inspections – perform visual inspections on welded products and structures in progress and on completed jobs
• measure welded products to ensure that they meet specifications for dimension
• monitors SUCONTRACTOR Quality Welding & NDT inspection activities on the yard, and ensure they are in conformance with Project requirements
• represents CONTRACTOR during the yard Welding & NDT inspections (performed by SUBCONTRACTOR), and ensures proper QC records are maintained
• monitors SUBCONTRACTOR welders proper qualifications – monitors NDT planification and progress in line with Project requirements
• monitors welding rejection rate, and record the results of tests and welding inspections

The Candidate:

• Engineering education with Welding specialisation
• First experience linked with metal/steel structures
• First proven related experience
• Good command of english is a plus

• Able to be autonomous
• Good writing skills
• Ability to establish very good relations with the clients as well
